The Brugada Family has been, for the last 20 years, a world reference for its contribution to research for preventing sudden death.
Founded by three expert cardiologists, brothers Josep and Ramon Brugada and Georgia Sarquella, this foundation is fully dedicated to researching and deepening the understanding of sudden death, in particular of Brugada syndrome; the syndrome takes the brothers’ name since they were the first to identify it.
The goal of the Brugada Foundation is to promote research on sudden death, foster cardiovascular health from different angles and contribute to providing information on the sudden death risk among the citizenship.
What is our goal with Pirulate?
As we’ve mentioned, Brugada syndrome right now has no known cure, but there have been significant advances in its research and prevention. This is still not enough, but we are going to continue working hard so that it doesn’t take any more lives in the future. To be able to do this, we need money to keep on researching. With your help and our work, we’ll exponentially multiply the results achieved. No contribution is too small.
If you’d like us to keep you updated about our Foundation’s activities and achievements, we’ll be happy to share them with you: firstname.lastname@example.org.
